AR: How did you two meet?

E: We initially met on the dating app Hinge a little over 5 years before we got married! It’s actually hilarious that we met on a dating app because we are the “parents” of our friend group, and we definitely didn’t consider ourselves cool enough to be on those kinds of apps. We were just trying to get out there in the world of dating- neither of us thought it would end up being serious… oops!

T: We met on the dating app Hinge towards the end of 2018! We chatted through the app for a little while, then had our first date in January 2019.

AR: What was your first date?

E: We met in person for the first time at a Starbucks at Easton! My housemates at the time actually stalked me on my first date with Trent, just to make sure he wasn’t a creeper. Great news: he wasn’t!

T: For our first date, we went to the Starbucks in Easton and then walked over to the Tesla dealership (this was long before Elon bought Twitter) – which was hilarious because we were obviously poor college students who couldn’t afford a Tesla. We actually went back to the Starbucks where we had our first date the day before our wedding! I’ll never forget our (incredibly awkward) first hug in the Easton parking lot!

AR: How did your proposal happen?

E: Trent proposed on a deadline of sorts haha! We knew we wanted to get married in the spring. It was the beginning of June and that lovely ring he bought me months before was just patiently sitting in the closet!! I told him that for our timeline to work, he’d need to propose by my birthday on June 6th. He got the hint… He took me on a “spontaneous” trip to a lake and proposed that night by a bonfire. It was just us. It was simple and authentic and everything I could’ve wished for!

T: In June 2023, Elizabeth and I took a weekend trip to Chautauqua Lake in New York. Elizabeth didn’t want to be proposed to in front of a crowd of people, so I proposed while we were sitting by the fire pit outside of the cabin. Elizabeth and I looked at rings together a few months earlier, so she wasn’t too surprised – but the lack of surprise didn’t mean a lack of excitement! We had a ton of fun that weekend – we rented a boat, went horseback riding, and started our engagement off right!

AR: What do you remember most from your wedding day?

E: The moment I remember most about our wedding day was our first look. When he turned around, I went completely speechless. I could only nod my head. I just couldn’t get words out.  I’ve never felt more vulnerable or more loved in my entire life. It was truly the most intense few moments of my life to date.

T: For me, the most memorable aspect of our wedding day was the absolute outpouring of love and support from our friends and family who were there with us for our special day. From the moment we started getting ready to the last song of the night, Elizabeth and I were absolutely overwhelmed by the effort that our guests put in to be there with and for us. In terms of specific moments, the most memorable moment for me was the Private Last Dance – it was so special to spend a quiet moment with just Elizabeth, reflecting on the joy and grandeur of the day,

"Ashley is amazing. We could not have asked for a more personable, professional, kind, hardworking, and fun photographer. We loved every part of the process of working with Ashely—from the meetings to the big day. Her work is phenomenal. She knows how to get the best photos while working well with the clients. I can not recommend Ashely enough. We plan to continue to use her for future photo sessions. "

" I dearly love every one of my couples, and I feel so grateful when they love me back!"

- Jordan, bride

"I don’t even know where to begin with Ashley. She was more than a photographer for me on my wedding day. She was a coordinator, a real life anxiety cure, a hair dresser during pictures & the reception, company that I truly enjoyed for the day, and of course, a wonderful photographer as well. She was with us throughout the whole day with no rush to hurry through anything & always making sure we were okay and getting the pictures we wanted. Joe & I truly do not know what we would’ve done without her on our big day. If you’re getting married, you absolutely have to hire her."

"Company that I truly enjoyed for the day."

- Halle, Bride

"We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ashley and all she did for us for our big day as well as the days that led up to it. She is timely, organized, and goes above and beyond for her couples. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was so efficient throughout the entire day. Ashley is professional while still making her couples feel like friends! We got a 10 photo preview on our WEDDING NIGHT- that was so incredible to have so soon. Thank you, Ashley! The day was perfect with you behind the lens!"
