AR: How did you two meet?
John: Set up by a close friend.
Sam: My former coworker (I was her supervisor at Victoria’s Secret) sent me a Facebook message putting in a good word for John. Her husband, Todd, is John’s best friend, and they grew up together. At the time it was one of those- “I have this friend…” messages. I had 0 luck with stuff like that in the past. My dad was also in and out of the hospital at the time and I was hesitant to even try to go on a date. I put myself out there and went for it. Sent him a message on Facebook. We talked for a couple weeks on Facebook and then officially met after that.
AR: Where was your first date?
J: At a Condado Taco’s in Easton.
S: We met up at Condado at Easton.
AR: How did your proposal happen?
J: Hocking Hills, in the very same cottage we spent on our first trip to the woods. Waited until the end of the trip and proposed just before we left.
S: He proposed in a cottage at Hocking Hills. It was the same cottage we stayed out for our first trip out to Hocking Hills. I had a feeling it was coming. I put press on nails all weekend and kept thinking he would do it at the restaurant, astronomy park, while we were hiking, etc. He waited right until I was packing the last bag for us to leave that Sunday. Haha. That took me by surprise.
AR: What do you remember most from your wedding day?
J: Looking at all my friends, family and Sam after walking down the aisle.
S: I really enjoyed doing the first look with my close friends. I was nervous before going out and just thinking about and missing my dad. They hyped me up and made me feel amazing. Spending time with my mom and sister getting ready was great too.
Walking out and seeing John put me at ease immediately. I loved every single moment of the wedding and reception. Seeing everyone jam to NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, etc. was so fun and put a huge smile on my face. I’m so grateful and blessed that we had so many people show up just for us.

"Ashley is amazing. We could not have asked for a more personable, professional, kind, hardworking, and fun photographer. We loved every part of the process of working with Ashely—from the meetings to the big day. Her work is phenomenal. She knows how to get the best photos while working well with the clients. I can not recommend Ashely enough. We plan to continue to use her for future photo sessions. "
" I dearly love every one of my couples, and I feel so grateful when they love me back!"

"I don’t even know where to begin with Ashley. She was more than a photographer for me on my wedding day. She was a coordinator, a real life anxiety cure, a hair dresser during pictures & the reception, company that I truly enjoyed for the day, and of course, a wonderful photographer as well. She was with us throughout the whole day with no rush to hurry through anything & always making sure we were okay and getting the pictures we wanted. Joe & I truly do not know what we would’ve done without her on our big day. If you’re getting married, you absolutely have to hire her."
"Company that I truly enjoyed for the day."

"We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ashley and all she did for us for our big day as well as the days that led up to it. She is timely, organized, and goes above and beyond for her couples. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was so efficient throughout the entire day. Ashley is professional while still making her couples feel like friends! We got a 10 photo preview on our WEDDING NIGHT- that was so incredible to have so soon. Thank you, Ashley! The day was perfect with you behind the lens!"
